New Delhi: Fiat has taken the wraps off the new Fiat 500, the car’s first significant change since its launch in the year 2007.
The changes include revised front and rear design as well as new infotainment systems and improved safety features.
The interiors are also refreshed and come with new upholstery for the seats. Fiat says that it has employed materials of an improved grade in the cabin.
The Fiat 500 gets a new Uconnect infotainment system that forms a major part of the centre console. The top model comes with the touch screen iteration of the system with Bluetooth telephony.
Fiat has incorporated larger disc brakes for improved braking. The new Fiat 500 also gets seven airbags, including a driver knee airbag as standard.
Apart from this, the car also gets ABS, EBD, ESC and ASR and hill hold function.
