The Toyota's Urban Cruiser Taisor is scheduled to breaks the cover on April 3, 2024. It will follow the footprints on Maruti Suzuki Fronx.

Toyota has been working on its latest compact crossover for quite a long time in India. Finally, it seems like the time has come as the company has shared the teaser on social media platforms.

It has been reported that the vehicle will be known under the nameplate Urban Cruiser Taisor, and will follow the footprints of Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It is scheduled to break the covers on April 3, 2024.

While sharing the short trailer on Instagram, the company captioned the post that reads, “Get ready to #MakeYourWay. The time has come to experience a momentous phenomenon. The legacy and leadership of Toyota’s legendary SUVs have taken a whole new form. So, make your way and witness the awesome.

Important Highlights

As per the shared clip, it is clear that the upcoming Taisor will come with an aggressive road appearance, and a stylish front grill, featuring the company’s chrome finish logo. The clip also showed sleek DRLs, complimented by trending LED connected taillight.

Better Than Maruti Suzuki Fronx?

We expected that the Taisor likely to flaunt a bigger size compared to Fronx. However, the details about the same will be confirmed at the launch event itself.

Talking about the interior, it will be equipped with a robust 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all car connect technology. Apart from this, it will also offer some of the advanced features incliuding a 360-degree camera with dynamic guidelines, automatic climate control, a heads-up display and whatnot.

Expect Engine Options

Under the hood, Taisor is expected to be powered by the same engine options, which have been used for Fronx. Customers can expect a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a maximum power of 89 bhp and 113 Nm. There will be a 1.0-litre turbo unit as well, which will churn out an impressive 99 bhp and 148 Nm. Both powertrains will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.
