After unveiling the latest Taigun GT Sport Plus, and Taigun GT Line last month, the German automaker Volkswagen finally launched both variants in India. The tech-loaded SUVs have been released in the market at the starting price of Rs 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model goes up to Rs 19.74 lakh. (ex-showroom).
The vehicles either can be booked from an authorized dealership or online via the official webiste.

The latest variants come with cutting-edge technology and boast a long list of robust features. The company has also included some design elements from outside to make it more sportier and bolder in the segment.
Both the models also get some enhancement from inside as well, making them unique compared to the standard counterparts.
Taigun GT Sport Plus
The GT Sport Plus trim comes with an eye-catching design from the outside. It gets the company’s signature grille at the front, featuring a chrome finish logo. The LED headlight setup with LED stylish DRLs, black-colored roof rails, glossy black B-pillar, and black-colored ORVMs, make it purely treat to the eyes.
The vehicle now runs on 17-inch Cassino black alloy wheels, flaunting red front brake calipers on each side. Under the hood, it has been given the same 1.5-liter TSI EVO engine, which has been paired with a 7-speed DSG and 6-speed manual transmission.
Taigun GT Line
Talking about the GT Line, it has been released for customers who want decent performance and aesthetics from their cars. From the outside, the GT line follows the same footprints as the GT Sport Plus, featuring a similar road appearance and front fascia. However, the badging at both ends set the vehicles apart from each other.
It uses the smaller 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine. The unit generates maximum power of 113 bhp and 178 Nm. The powerhouse is mated with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission
