The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is expected to announce the BPSC TRE 2.0 Result 2023 anytime soon. But before the announcement of the school teacher/headmaster written competitive exam results, the commission issued an important notice for the candidates on the BPSC TRE 2.0 Result 2023. Aspirants who have appeared for the Bihar School Teacher Examination can check the official notice through the official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
According to the official notice, the Bihar Public Service Commission has levied several measures and conditions for the publication of the results. Candidates can check the list of conditions mentioned by the commission below:
Document Verification: First and foremost, the commission has decided that the BPSC TRE 2.0 Result 2023 will be made public, subject to the condition that after publication, certificates related to the educational/academic qualification that were submitted during the online application will be verified by the administrative department in their original form at the time of counselling for an appointment. Candidates must obtain the documents from the website. Every document will have a new watermark along with automatic registration. The verification will be done in person. If the verification cannot be completed, both their exam result and eligibility will be declared void.
Cut-off Marks: Candidates falling under the general category have cut-off marks of 40 per cent, whereas 36.5 per cent marks are set for the backward-class candidates and the extremely backward-class candidates. However, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will have to obtain a minimum of 34 per cent marks to qualify, and SC/ST women and physically handicapped candidates will have to obtain a minimum of 32 per cent qualifying marks to pass the written exam. Candidates failing to attain the prescribed minimum qualifying marks will not be included in the merit list.
Tie-Breaker: The merit list will be created using the overall marks of the written examination (objective) but excluding the language marks as it is qualifying, i.e., the marks of the remaining 120 questions. If the above total scores are equal, the marks of the main section (Part-III) of the selected subject, i.e. the last 80 questions, will be used as the first tie-breaker. But in the written examination (objective) for teachers of classes 1-5 (Part-III) there will be no Tie-breaker-I. In case of equal marks after Tie-breaker-I, the marks acquired in the language section in the second Tie-breaker-II will be used for the teacher of classes 1-5.
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) certificates: The 18-month Diploma in Primary Education (D.El.Ed.) obtained through open and distant education has been terminated.
