The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully administered the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 exam on January 21. The exam was held in 3,418 test centres across 135 cities in the country. The exam was conducted in two shifts – 9:30 am to 12 pm and 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The Teacher Eligibility Test consists of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

As per media reports, the board is expected to release the CTET 2024 provisional answer key tomorrow, January 23, or in a few days. Once it is released, candidates can check and download it from the official website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can also raise objections, if required, for a fee of Rs 1,000 per question.

For the CTET 2024 exam, candidates can calculate their tentative scores and assess their chances of qualification using the answer key. Each correct answer is awarded one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. To pass the exam, a minimum score of 60 per cent is required (55 per cent for reserved categories). As an example, if a candidate correctly answers 50 questions, their total score would be 50.
