ICAI CA Inter, Final May Result 2024 to Be Declared by July 10; Here's What We Know So Far

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will be announcing the ICAI CA Intermediate and Final Result 2024 soon. Once out, students who appeared for the exams can check and download their results from the official website at icai.nic.in/caresult, icai.org or icai.nic.in.

The results are likely to be announced between July 5 to July 10. Dhiraj Khandelwal, CCM of ICAI, recently wrote on his X account, “There may be some slight change in result date and may be delayed by 1 or 2 days from 5th July. Hence it could be between 5th July to 10th July. Let’s wait for the final notification of ICA.” Earlier, the results were supposed to be declared in the first week of July.

However, an official announcement regarding the final date and time of the ICAI CA May result is still awaited.

ICAI CA May Results 2024: How to check

Step 1: Head to the official website of ICAI at icai.nic.in/caresult, icai.org or icai.nic.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the CA Intermediate or CA Final Results May 2024 tab, as per the exam you’ve appeared for and click on it.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page asking for your login credentials like Registration or Roll Number and Password.

Step 4: Enter the details carefully and click on Submit.

Step 5: Your CA Intermediate or CA Final May 2024 result will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Check all the details mentioned in your result carefully.

Step 7: Download and take a printout for future reference.

All the candidates must carefully check the following details on their mark sheets:

ICAI Inter/Final CA Result May 2024: Passing Criteria:

The CA Intermediate exam consists of 6 papers each weighted 100 marks. Each paper will include objective-type questions accounting for 30 per cent of the total weightage. The remaining 70 per cent of the paper will follow the current pattern of assessment.

Candidates must pass both groups simultaneously by achieving a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each paper in one sitting and a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate of all papers within each group to qualify.

The ICAI conducted the CA Final May 2024 exams for Group 1 on May 2, 4 and 6 and for Group 2 on May 8, 10 and 12. While, the CA Inter exams for May 2024 took place from May 3 to 13, covering both group 1 and group 2.
