Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has once again extended the re-registration deadline for the January 2024 session until March 10. Students who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to enroll in IGNOU’s programs can complete the application process by accessing the official website at ignou.ac.in.

On the X platform (Formerly known as Twitter), the institute has notified that the admission deadlines for all programs available in both online and open and distance learning (ODL) modes have been extended. As a result, candidates now have the opportunity to apply for these programs, albeit with a late fee of Rs 200.

The registration process for IGNOU’s January 2024 session commenced online on December 5, 2023. Initially, candidates were required to complete their admission forms by January 31. However, this deadline was subsequently extended to February 15, and further prolonged until February 29.

Aspiring students interested in ODL programs can finalise their registration through ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, whereas individuals seeking admission to online mode programs should complete their registration process via ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

Students who have previously enrolled in any program through the IGNOU portal can access their accounts by entering their username and password. If they face any challenges, such as not receiving the one-time password (OTP) or forgetting their login details, they must reach out to their respective regional center for support. The center will assist in resetting their accounts and updating contact information, including email IDs or mobile numbers.
