Applicants who clear the KTET written examination are eligible to apply for teaching vacancies in Kerala schools based on their category and qualifications

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPB)  announced the final results for the Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) 2024 April session. All the candidates who appeared for the test can check and download the result through the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in by entering their registration number and date of birth.

The examination for the April session was administered on June 22 and June 23 at various centres across India. It was conducted in two shifts on both days: the first shift from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

KTET 2024: How to Check Result?

Step 1: Navigate to the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the Kerala KTET April Session 2024 result link and click on it.

Step 3: Enter your login details such as Registration ID and Date of Birth.

Step 4: Select your category – I, II, III and IV.

Step 5: Follow the process as suggested on the website.

Step 6: The Kerala KTET April Session 2024 result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7: Take a printout of the result for future reference.

Along with the final result, the KPB has also released the rectified answer key for Category I, II, III and IV.

Applicants who clear the KTET written examination are eligible to apply for teaching vacancies in Kerala schools based on their category and qualifications. The KTET certificate is a mandatory requirement for applying to these positions.

KTET 2024: Passing Criteria

To pass the Kerala TET 2024 exam, candidates belonging to the General category must score a minimum of 60 per cent marks in Categories I-II and at least 50 per cent in Categories III and IV.

However, for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, the passing marks are 55 per cent for Categories I- II and 50 per cent for III and IV.

The Kerala TET exam is administered by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan twice in a year which assesses individuals’ skills and abilities for teaching in Kerala’s lower primary, upper primary and high schools. Note that the Kerala TET score is valid for a lifetime.
