MAH LLB 5-Year CET 2024 Postponed to May 30 to Avoid Clash With CUET UG
The MAH LLB 5-Year CET unit will administer the 5-year LLB test for admission to 5-year integrated legal programmes at institutes throughout the state.

The Maharashtra state Common Entrance Test cell has revised the MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024 date due to a clash with the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 law exam. Now, the entrance exam will be held on May 30. The admissions exam was originally scheduled for May 3. Before May 20, the exam was expected to be held on May 22.

The official notice stated, “Many candidates have requested this office about the clash of CUET 2024 Legal Test date with LLB 5 Yrs CET examination on 22/05/2024. In light of this situation, CET CELL has decided to change the Date of LL.B 5 Yrs CET examination as follows. Candidates should take note of this.”

Candidates will be notified via email and SMS soon regarding where they can download their admission cards for the MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024.

In order to be eligible for the MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024 candidates must have completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board. Those under the unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS), and other Maharashtra state (OMS) categories must have a minimum aggregate of 45 per cent marks. Candidates from scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) must score at least 40 per cent. Others from Vimukta Jati and nomadic tribes (VJNT), scheduled castes (SC), and other backward classes (OBC) must have scored at least 42 per cent. The application cost for candidates in the open category, EWS category from Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra, all India candidates, and Jammu-Kashmir migrants was Rs 1,000.

Interested and eligible students could apply for the exam until April 15. They were required to submit their applications via the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The CET unit will administer the 5-year LLB test for admission to 5-year integrated legal programmes at institutes throughout the state. The Maharashtra government formed CET Cell Maharashtra, also known as the State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra State, to administer and manage several common entrance tests (CETs) for admission to professional programmes in the state.
