SBI SCO Recruitment 2024 for 150 Posts Underway; Check Eligibility, Selection Process and More

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment to the post of Trade Finance Officer, Middle Management Grade Scale –II under the Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO). All interested and eligible candidates can apply for the job openings through the official site sbi.co.in. The Application process began on June 7 and the last date to apply is June 27.

The recruitment aims to fill up 150 vacant positions for the Trade Finance Officers (MMG Scale II). Out of these, 61 posts are for the Unreserved Category, 38 for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, 25 for Scheduled Caste, 15 for Economically Weaker Sections and 11 for Scheduled Caste.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

–– To apply for the mentioned post, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any government-recognized university or institution with certificates in Forex by IIBF.

–– Applicants holding a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS), Certificate in Trade Finance or Certificate in International Banking will be preferred.

–– Candidate should be between 23 to 32 years of age.

–– Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Trade Finance Processing as an Executive in a supervisory role in any scheduled commercial bank.

–– Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the tab that reads “Recruitment for SCO” or something similar.

Step 3: Register yourself by giving the required information.

Step 4: Log in using the Registration Number and Password

Step 5: Fill in the application form carefully

Step 6: Upload scanned copies of the required documents and pay the fee.

Step 7: Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Applicants belonging to the General, OBC and EWS categories need to deposit a fee of Rs 750. While the candidates from SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from paying any fees.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process includes shortlisting of candidates and an interview round. SBI will form a committee to decide the shortlisting parameters, based on which candidates will be called for the interview.

The interview round will carry 100 marks. A merit list will be released by the bank in descending order based on the scores obtained in the interview.
