The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) published the results of the first phase of seat allotment for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 counselling today, August 1. Through the official website, tneaonline.org, candidates who took part in the counselling procedure can access the TNEA 2024 round 1 seat allotment result by logging in with their registration number and birthdate.
According to the timetable, applicants who have been assigned seats must confirm their seats by 5 pm on August 2. In the event that the seat is not accepted, it shall be forfeited. Candidates should report to their colleges between August 3 and 7, 2024, to confirm their acceptance into the programme.Counselling for TNEA 2024 is being administered based on categories. The counselling procedure, which entails registration, payment, choice filling, allocation, and confirmation, is open to candidates who appear on the TNEA ranking list. The TNEA 2024 counselling first round of choice filling ended on July 31, 2024.
Those who are allotted seats for the TNEA counselling procedure in 2024 have three choices: either accept and choose upward movement, decline and select upward movement, or opt out of the counselling session. Candidates must affirm their choice of whether they will be taking the seat in order to prevent seat cancellations.
Those who accept their seat must download the allocation letter, report to their designated institutes, complete the admissions process, and pay the applicable costs. Students who have selected upward mobility in their choices, hoping to get into a higher-ranked college, should wait until the following round. The provisional allotment for these applicants will be made available on August 10.
The TNEA 2024 supplementary counselling will take place from September 6 to 8, 2024, subsequently followed by the SCA to SC counselling on September 10 and 11. Admissions to government and government-aided engineering institutions, as well as university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University, are facilitated by TNEA 2024.
