The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will release the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 tentative seat allotment result for round 2 today, August 13. Candidates who applied for the counselling can check their results through the official website at tneaonline.org.
Candidates can either accept and choose upward movement, decline and select upward movement, or opt out of the counselling session. Candidates must affirm their choice of whether they will be taking the seat in order to prevent seat cancellations. Candidates must confirm their allotted seats by August 14, up to 5 PM. The provisional allotment list for round 2 will be released on August 15.

TNEA Counselling 2024 Round 2 Allotment Result: What’s Next?
Those who accept seats must download the allocation letter, report to their designated institutes, complete the admissions process, and pay the applicable costs. However, this can be done after the TNEA final seat allotment results have been declared which is expected to be out by August 23 following which the round 3 counselling process is expected to commence. Selected candidates must report to the designated college with the necessary documents after the seat allocation. The application cost must be paid by the candidate.
The TNEA 2024 supplementary counselling will take place from September 6 to 8, 2024, subsequently followed by the SCA to SC counselling on September 10 and 11.
Admissions to government and government-aided engineering institutions, as well as university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University, are facilitated by TNEA 2024.
