Multiple Accounts on Android
Get a second phone number and SIM. As long as you have two active phone numbers on your Android, using two WhatsApp accounts on one phone is easy. If you have a dual-SIM phone, you won't need to change SIM cards to use your second number. If your phone has an eSIM, contact your carrier to get a second SIM added.
Open WhatsApp. In October 2023, WhatsApp added the ability for Android phones to add a second account to WhatsApp without third-party tools.
Tap your photo in the top-right corner and click the arrow by your name. This will show you all the accounts you have added.
Click Add account. WhatsApp will ask for your permission to add the second line, so tap Agree and continue to move forward.
Enter the new phone number and tap Next. If you don't know your new phone number, you'll need to grab it before you can continue. Your phone carrier may have provided this, but you can also check it by swapping to the correlated SIM card on your phone.
Follow the on-screen prompts to accept or deny permissions. Once you've finished going through the on-screen prompts, the second number will be added to WhatsApp. You can swap easily by tapping the down arrow by your name.
Multiple Accounts on iPhone
Download WhatsApp Business. If you have an iPhone and want to use two WhatsApp accounts, you can run both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business on your phone. There are a few differences between WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business, mainly things like a business profile. However, this is a workaround if you want multiple accounts, even if you don't own a business. You will need a second phone number and SIM card, so you'll need a dual-SIM compatible device.
Open WhatsApp Business and select Use a different number. WhatsApp Business will automatically detect your other WhatsApp account, but you can set up a different phone number with this app.
Enter your second number tap Done, then Yes. WhatsApp will send you a confirmation message to make sure your number is correct.
Enter the verification code. If WhatsApp Business asks you to do an iCloud backup, you can press Skip Restore.
Enter your name and business category, then tap Next. If you're not using this for a business, you can select the Not a business category.
Tap Not Now to skip adding business information. If you want to add business information, you can tap Explore. Otherwise, once you've tapped Not Now, you can use WhatsApp for Business as a second WhatsApp line on your iPhone.
Using Parallel Space for Android
Download and install Parallel Space from the Google Play Store. Parallel Space lets you use two accounts on one phone with WhatsApp. The app's developer is LBE Tech.
Open Parallel Space and tap Start. Follow the on-screen instructions to move through the tutorial.
Tap the WhatsApp icon to select it. You'll see a blue checkmark in the upper left corner of the app icon to indicate it's selected.
Tap Add to Parallel Space. You might need to allow the app permissions before it can proceed with cloning the app.
Tap the WhatsApp icon. You'll see text below the app explaining that tapping the app will prompt you to set up a second account.
Tap Agree and Continue on the WhatsApp welcome screen.
Type your second WhatsApp phone number. This is the phone number you'd like to set up your second account with. To access this second account, you'll need to go through Parallel Space.
Using the Samsung Cloning Service
Open Settings Android 7 Settings App. You can also navigate to settings by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear icon. Only the newest versions of Samsung phones and tablets have this option.
Tap Advanced Features.You may have to scroll down to see this menu option.
Tap Dual Messenger. This feature clones apps so you can have dual accounts with one app.
Tap Install. You'll need to confirm your action to start cloning WhatsApp. You'll see a loading icon as the app is cloning. This might take a few moments. You can find the cloned app in the app drawer. The app icon has two orange circles in the lower right corner.
