In crochet, we have a stitch called slip stitch. For short they are usually called sl st. A slip stitch is a stitches that does not create height and is usually used at the end of work. In this article, you will learn how to make one.
Begin your crochet work. Work until you need to make your slip stitch. You can use a pattern on what you want to make. You can find many patterns on different websites.
Insert your hook into the indicated loop(s),stitch, or space. Make sure you do not forcefully push your hook into your stitch because this might make the hole big and will look sloppy.
Yarn over. Yarn over your hook like usual. In case you don’t know what yarn over is, make a Z on your hook.
Pull the yarn through the loops on your hook. You've created your first slip stitch. Make your loops connected then, this will be easier. Also, if you find this instruction hard, just imagine you are making a chain but with one stitch only.
