Din's Fire is a very important weapon/tool that you need in order to accomplish a variety of obstacles on Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Without it, you can't open certain entrances to temples, destroy large enemies, or burn things (unless you have the Fire Arrows). The major problem is seeking it out and acquiring this valuable item which can be quite challenging if you've never gotten through the game before. This article will explain how.
Acquire the Bomb Bag from Dodongo's Cavern, if you haven't done so already.
Travel to the Market and go forward going towards the castle area.
Where that girl was standing earlier in the game, there should be some vines. Climb up them and jump over the guarded gate.
Ahead of you, there is a "Dead end" sign and further down that dead end is a boulder. Blow it up by placing a bomb next to it.
Proceed into the tunnel and you'll come to a Fairy Fountain.
Step up to the pedestal and play on your Ocarina "Zelda's Lullaby".
The fairy will appear and grant you Din's Fire.
