KOCHI: A week back, many people named Joseph gathered at Santa Cruz Basilica of Fort Kochi. This week, it was the turn of people named Mary to have a similar feast.St Joseph’s Day which was observed last week saw 50 people named ‘Joseph’ from the parish of the Santa Cruz Basilica gathered and honoured. Similarly, on the feast of Annunciation of Our Lady, observed on Monday, a total of 125 women named Mary gathered at the Basilica. The mass was presided over by Father Francis M J Fernandez, the Rector of the Basilica.
