2 held in loot case

ROURKELA: Two more accused wanted in a major loot at the posh Civil Township area were on Wednesday arrested by RN Pali police leading to seizures of two motor-bikes, a car and some stolen gold ornaments. Rourkela SP Himanshu Lal said that the two arrested were among the seven criminals who at gunpoint had looted ` 7 lakh from one SS Palai from Civil Township area on February 2 afternoon. Police identified the arrested persons as Santosh Mallick (28) of Kendrapara and Kishore Sahu (32) of Jajpur. The seizures included two motor-bikes and a car believed to have been used in various crimes. The fresh seizures also included gold ornaments worth over ` 40,000.
