As many as 15 persons attacked five students on Navodaya junior college here for reportedly teasing a few of their female classmates. Sources said the secondyear intermediate students used to tease some girls, who informed their parents about it.
On Friday, 15 people, said to be the victims’ family members, dragged the five students from the college and attacked them with hockey sticks. “Two students were hospitalised with serious injuries while the other three ran away,” sources said.
The police, however, did not confirm that an attack took place and said two students Girish and Raju, who are absconding, had teased one of their classmates, whose parents had filed a complaint with the L B Nagar police.
