Bhopal: Six policemen have been booked for custodial death of a Bharatiya Janata Party leader Atiq Ahmad in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district.
The Rewa police station in-charge has been suspended and a magisterial probe has been ordered in the case. Ahmad who was arrested by police for clashing with locals was allegedly beaten in the police custody.

Singh said, "A magisterial probe has been ordered into the case. Local SHO has been suspended pending inquiry."
