Heartthrob Akshay Kumar turned 43 today and his journey to the top has been that truly of a hero’s. From the streets of Bangkok to the boulevards of LA, Akshay is one of the most respected superstars of the Bollywood. Akshay reveals to us his birthday plans. To begin with, he plans to cut down on work and spend more time with his family. He plans to take wife Twinkle for dinner, today. On turning 43, Akshay says, "I think that life begins at 40 and that's when you can sit back and enjoy the fruits of your hard work."
Numerologist Bhavikk Sanghavi predicts his future. He says, "Akshay was born on 9th September, 1967 which makes him a Number 9 person in numerology. Being a Number 9, Akki is full of energy, vibrancy and aggression. That’s why he does not refrain from performing daredevil stunts in most of his movies and even in real life. No wonder he is still addressed as ‘Khiladi Kumar’. Being ruled by Number 5 twice, he is a fast learner, impatient and restless as well.” Sanghavi however adds, “At times, this trait does work for him but can also get him into trouble vis-à-vis communicating with people. As far as work is concerned, he is a complete go getter and will not budge until his goals are accomplished.”
He continues, “Akshay will now be entering his 44th year, which indicates troubled times ahead for him especially health wise. Mainly problems like loss of sleep, pain in the back or legs are indicated. He may become prone to injuries and should take care of any mishaps or accidents while performing his acts,” warns Bhavikk.
“On the film front, his next release ‘Action Replayy’ which is all set for release on 5th November will do decent business and his performance will be appreciated, but after that, in ‘Tees Maar Khan’ scheduled to release on 24thDecember, her co-star Katrina Kaif may take most of the credit for the film’s success.” predicts Bhavikk.
As far as Akshay’s current brand value is concerned, adman Prahlad Kakkar says, “Akshay’s brand value is big. He is very popular among women and that works for an advertiser. There have been ups and downs in his film career and accordingly his brand value has also fluctuated. But at present, he surely finds a spot for himself in the ad world which is exclusive to him.”
Actor Nauheed Cyrusi has worked with Akshay Kumar in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ last season, and spent days together with the star. She says, “Akshay has an aura like no other. He is one of the most genuine people I have known and working with him was a treat.” She adds, “On the show he gave me a pet name ‘Naani’ and people still address me by that name and I guess this is something that will always stay with me.”
Action director Sham Kaushal swears by the actor when it comes to stars performing their own stunts. Having worked together in 'Tasveer 8/10', Kaushal affirms that Akshay is one of the nicest people in Bollywood to work with. He adds, “As an action director, it is a privilege to have him working in a film. He is an actor who always does his stunts himself. He carries it so well that everything looks very real. He does exactly what the director visualizes. God bless him!”
