Ananda Nilayam inmates get library

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The inmates of Ananda Nilayam, a home for the destitute at Kuriyathi near Manacaud, received a new library as a gift on the Children’s Day.The library was contributed by the city-based socio-cultural organisation, Karma. Cartoonist Sukumar, who is the president of Narma Kairali, inaugurated the library by handing over books to the inmates.  A cultural programme, Children’s Carnival, was also staged at the orphanage as part of Children’s Day celebrations.
