Anna Hazare, Iyer must join hands: Parameswaran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Anna Hazare, the crusader against corruption, and Justice V R Krishna Iyer who advocates social justice should join hands, said Bharateeya Vichara Kendram director P  Parameswaran.   Anna Hazare’s ultimate aim was respected by all, though some had reservations about the method he chose in his fight against corruption. However, Hazare succeeded in enlivening the ire against corruption in the country. But the case is not the same with Justice Krishna Iyer who drafted the Women’s Code Bill, Parameswaran said in a statement here on Saturday.   Iyer’s motive is unquestionable. If Krishna Iyer stood for the Unified Civil Code he could garner the support of a majority of the public.
