Locked at 2.5 points each, the duo would like to take home the advantage as the 12-game championship hits midway.

Game 1 ended in a draw, followed by Carlsen bagging full points in the second Game. Anand, though, hit back soon to level it at 1.5 points each by winning Game 3. The fourth and fifth game ended in a draw.
