Aurangabad: A major fire broke out in a temporary firecrackers market and destroyed over 200 big and small shops on Saturday morning, officials said.
There were no human casualties as all the shopkeepers and customers managed to escape to safety.
However, at least a dozen four-wheelers and more than two dozen two-wheelers parked in the vicinity were engulfed in the blaze and destroyed.
The blaze, the cause of which is not known, was brought under control in an hour.
