BU renews MoU with Japan Foundation

BANGALORE: Bangalore University (BU) has renewed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan Foundation, New Delhi, for assistance in Japanese courses being conducted at the varsity.
According to the MoU, Japan Foundation will assign a faculty to offer teaching assistance from this month to April 2012, who would assist in teaching for various levels of Japanese classes conducted at the Centre for Global Languages in the university. Japan Foundation has been supporting the Japanese programmes of the university since 2005. ViceChancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev, Registrar Dr R M Ranganath, Director of Japan Foundation Nao Endo, Advisor for South India, Japan Foundation, were among those who were present during the signing of the MoU.
