The city police on Monday arrested three youths accused of snatching a two-sovereign necklace from a 52-year-old housewife.
The city police on Monday arrested three youths accused of snatching a two-sovereign necklace from a 52-year-old housewife.
They were identified as Nithin Lawrence alias Cheenkanni, Bethel House, Peroorkada; Gokul, 21, Gokul Nivas, Kuravankonam; and Noble Chacko, Raj Bhavan Quarters.
The necklace belonged to Shantha Mohan of Convent Road, Nalanchira. The accused are wanted in a number of cases, including thefts of motorcycles, the police said in a statement.
The arrests were made a police team led by Cantonment assistant commissioner Haridas and Peroorkada CI V Jayachandran.
