Concern over rising prices of medicines

KOCHI: The All-Kerala Chemists and Druggists Association (AKCDA) has expressed concern over the skyrocketing prices of life-saving medicines. The health sector in the state has been the platform for exploiting the patients, said Antony Taryan, general secretary, AKCDA. He said the AKCDA does not have any role in the price rise. It is the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, which determines prices of medicines, he said.
