Karimnagar: Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and accused him of discriminating against Telangana people.
"Kiran has been unfair and unjust to Telangana all these years," the MP said and appealed to party high-command to expedite the process of bifurcation of state.
He further said the high-command took the decision to divide Andhra Pradesh after taking the chief minister and other stake-holders concerned into confidence.
On referring a bill on division of state to Assembly, Prabhakar said, "Article 3 of the Constitution mandates the reference of the Bill by the President to the state assembly concerned. There is no necessity of the resolution from assembly".
