Congress to march over governments misdeeds

BANGALORE: The Congress will launch a campaign, titled 'Congress nadige Janara Kadege (Congress march towards people)', a 60-day programme from June 15.
Addressing newsmen after attending a daylong meeting of delegates on Thursday, KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar informed that several issues came up for discussion including that of the Governor's recommendation to the Centre for the dismissal of the BJP government.Dr Parameshwar said that it was resolved to constitute panchayat committees in over 5,600 gram panchayats in the state comprising party workers and hold over 10,000 public meetings spread over 44,666 polling stations in the next 60 days. Party central leaders and Union ministers would participate in the programme, which would be launched simultaneously in 224 constituencies. Party workers will be provided with pamphlets highlighting failure of the state government.
