KOCHI: Three members of the CPM Palarivattom local committee on Thursday denied reports that they had quit the party. They said it was a propaganda against them. The party has been asked to inquire into the false report that was circulated to the media.There were reports about the resignation of 10 members from the party. The report said that P V Shanmughan, C B Dileep and C B Pratheep were among the resigned members. The three members said that they had not issued such a press release and some vested interests were behind it.Shanmughan, who got the CPM membership in 1971, was elevated as a member of the local committee in 1998 and has been continuing in the post. Dileep who got the party membership in 1980 was elevated to the local committee in 2003. Pratheep has been a party member since 1979. He was elevated to the local committee in 1998. Dileep and Pratheep are employed at the Thammanam Co-operative Bank.
