DMK lawyers vow to expose cops

TIRUCHY: Deciding to launch a counter attack against police officials who ‘foist false cases’ against the DMK functionaries, the party’s legal wing on Saturday said it would expose the irregularities and illegally acquired property of such police officials. Complaints against police officials would be given to the Prime Minister, Governor and Income Tax department, a resolution passed at the party’s legal wing meeting said. The complaints against the police officials who ‘foist false cases’ would contain information about their illegal wealth and irregularities committed in the past, a resolution passed at the meeting said. Condemning the ‘false cases’ against the partymen, the party said it would face them legally.
