Draw of lots for IYC post

BANGALORE: The president post for the four Lok Sabha seats of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) have been chosen through a draw of lots in the run-up to the organisational elections to the Karnataka unit of the Indian Youth Congress here on Friday.Following the draw of lots, four Lok Sabha seats in the state, one each from four zones were declared reserved for the candidates of schedueld caste and tribes, which was conducted in the presence of FAME, an NGO, entrusted to conduct the organisational elections.While Mysore Lok Sabha Constituency seat was named as the reserved seat for the post of President in the Mysore zone, Haveri in Belgaum zone, Kolar in Bangalore zone and Bagalkot in Gulbarga zone are reserved for SC/ST candidates to head the organisation.
