Shrishti Art Gallery is currently hosting a travel exhibition titled — Synchronicity Art Exhibition, by Seema Kohli.The style of art is self-creative evolving itself on mixed medium of canvas. The creative structure is given life-like image by using line chalk and ethnic bright colours inter-wined with subtle colours in regular pattern. The central theme of the works include feminine power which is beautifully taken shape on the canvas. The subject of the painting explores the depths of inner soul trying to bring it out into the real world through its colours. The predominant feature of Seema's paintings dwell on conveying the many facets of people which is reflected in the form of power, force, femininity and internal emotions. One of the painting, titled 'Immortal Mother', speaks of a mother in her many avatars eminating her indisputable power of motherhood while the other portrays her as a spiritual figure. The canvas has also ample place for the elements of nature blended with the figure to symbolise fertility while explaining that femininity is also in harmony with trees and leaves and other symbolic figures. Talking about her works, Seema says, "The works are a result of my journey towards the path of self-discovery and self-realisation while gearing up for new challenges." Other works in the gallery include Tree of Life and Hiranyagarba, among others. The paintings priced between Rs 75,000 to Rs 25,00,000 and the exhibition will be on till December 30.
