The rental for the MMRDA grounds in Mumbai is a steep Rs 3.77 lakh per day.
New Delhi: Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare returned to his village Ralegaon Siddhi in Maharashtra and will watch the proceedings of Parliament over the Lokpal Bill closely.
He has already rejected the government's Lokpal Bill draft and announced his plans to sit on a 3-day fast from December 27 to December 29, followed by a jail bharo agitation from December 30.
However, the plans for his proposed fast in Mumbai have run into some bad weather. The rental for the MMRDA grounds is a steep Rs 3.77 lakh per day.
A PIL will be filed in a court on Thursday, to seek directives for a fee exemption. Not to be deterred, Team Anna has applied again to use the space at the iconic Azad Maidan in Mumbai.
