HC lambasts government over land grab

This is how Chief Justice J S Khehar pulled up the State Government while hearing a case in which Housing Minister V Somanna is accused of encroaching the tank bed and building a school. Narayanappa and others who have moved the High Court suspecting malafide intentions of the minister in constructing a school building at Survey No 380 at Govindarajanagar without any government approval. Hearing this petition, the division bench comprising of Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice Ashok Bangreppa Hinchigeri took the state government to task.
