High School girl sexually exploited

BANGALORE: A high school student was sexually exploited and threatened with dire consequences, if she revealed the incident to anyone. The incident took place in Hennur police station limits.The incident came to light when a neighbour noticed the victim moving around with the accused, identified as Naveen and questioned her. The victim’s parents, construction labourers, who were informed about it, later filed a complaint with the police.The victim told the police that the accused Naveen was a frequent visitor to her neighbour’s house, and had befriended her 10-year-old brother. He got her mobile number through him and gave his number in a slip asking her to call him urgently.Out of curiosity, she called Naveen and he told her to meet him near level crossing in Hennur in last November.Soon after reaching the spot, Naveen pounced on her saying he was in love with her and raped her. Later, Naveen threatened her with dire consequences and told her to come whenever he calls her. Fearing severe consequences, she gave in to Naveen’s demand.However, the incident came to light when a neighbour questioned her.
