London: '127 Hours' star James Franco, who is open about his admiration for vampire romance 'Twilight', says he fought for a role in the Twilight sequel 'Breaking Dawn' but unfortunately the cast is full and there is no space for him.
The 32-years-old says he wanted a role in the hit franchise because it would have helped him become a part of an arty movie, reported Contactmusic.
"It was supposed to be part of a multimedia project at Yale (university). I was working with a Yale undergraduate who had written an autobiographical play about putting on a theatrical production of Twilight, in which I was a character," said Franco.
"So I was interested in Twilight because I was going to be part of that play. I thought what a great connection it would be if I were also involved with the real Twilight," he added.
