India foils fresh infiltration bid, Pakistan violates ceasefire again
While Pakistani troops yet again violated ceasefire in Samba sector, some terrorists made a fresh infiltration bid in Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan continued to dare India ahead of the National Security Advisor (NSA)-level talks between the two countries on Sunday. While Pakistani troops yet again violated ceasefire in Samba sector, some terrorists made a fresh infiltration bid in Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistani rangers violated ceasefire overnight in the Samba Sector of Jammu, targeting BSF posts.

In another incident, the BSF foiled an infiltration bid in the Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir. BSF personnel reportedly opened fire on the infiltrators who retreated back to Pakistani territory.

This comes a day after Pakistani troops fired on civilian areas and military positions along the Line of Control in Poonch district overnight, drawing retaliation from the Army.

There have been 48 violations of the border ceasefire agreement of 2003 by Pakistan in August and over 241 ceasefire violations during the year so far.
