New Delhi: The Indian men's team comprising of Mangal Singh Champia, Tarundeep Rai, Jayanta Talukdart and Vishwas have won the bronze medal in archery.
The Indian archers scored 211 to finish third defeating Malaysia, which managed only 207 point.
Bimoljit gets bronze in wushu
Mayanglabam Bimoljit Singh on Wednesday got a bronze medal in men's 60 kg wushu event at the Asian Games after losing in the semi-final to Iranian fighter
Neshini Alireza Sahra.
Sahra outclassed Singh 2-0 (5-0 and 5-0) in the two rounds and moved into the final while the latter settled for the bronze.
Singh had beaten Kazakh Medet Abzhanov in the round of 16 before laying low North Korea's Won Top Song by identical 2-0 margins in the quarters.
Ghosal bags bronze in squash
India's Saurav Ghosal secured a bronze after he went down in three games to top Malaysian rival Ong Beng Hee in the semi-final of the men's squash event at the Asian Games today.
The Kolkata-born Ghosal lost the 41-minute clash 1-9 2-9 9-6 4-9 against a far fitter and faster rival. Ghosal had got the better of compatriot Ritwik Bhattacharya in the earlier round.
Earlier, Joshna Chinappa had lost 9-3 9-1 9-2 to Hong Kong's Wing Yin Chiu in the quarter-final.
