IOCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2018 Southern Region Begins at iocl.com: 350 Posts, Apply Before February 19

IOCL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2018 for Southern Region to fill 350 vacancies of Trade Apprentices has begun on the official website of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) – iocl.com.

Candidates interested in doing Apprenticeship at IOCL Operating centres in the states of Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana must apply for the same on or before 19th February 2018.

The Written Test to select candidates is scheduled to be conducted on 4th March 2018 at the Chennai, Hyderabad,Vijaywada, Cochin and Bangalore centres. This engagement of trade and technician apprentices is scheduled for a period of 12 months under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Age-Limit:

The applicants must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 24 years as on 31st January 2018. Age Relaxation rules apply and candidates can check the same on the official notification.

Monthly Stipend:

As per the official advertisement ‘Trade Apprentice will be paid a consolidated Stipend as per the Apprenticeship Rules with an additional amount of Rs.2500/- towards Stationery, Conveyance & Miscellaneous expenses. Consolidated stipend is subject to the periodic revision in minimum wages as applicable to a particular location.’

Selection Process:

Selection process for selection of Apprentices will be based on a Written Test (85% weightage) and Personal Interview (15% weightage).Candidates who will qualify the written test will be eligible for the interview and candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list prepared by considering aggregate marks in both stages.
