Jaya greets people on Vinayaka Chaturthi

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief Minister J Jayalalithaa Wednesday greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi, being celebrated Thursday.In an official release, she said it was the long standing belief of people that Lord Vinayaka was the God of Knowledge and that any work initiated after seeking his blessings would fructify.Extending her greetings she wished the people all-round happiness, prosperity and peace.
