Kakatiya students to study in Europe

WARANGAL: Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor Prof. B Venkat Rathnam exhorted students, research scholars and teachers to avail opportunities in education, research and teaching across the globe. He was speaking at an interaction meet with delegates of Erasmus Mundus project of European Union held on the university campus on Thursday.Erasmus project delegates Bianca Buttiglione and Silvia Carosso, both from Italy, gave a presentation on the admission procedure and facilities available at the European educational institutions. They interacted with  the faculty, research scholars and students of KU and answered their queries.They said that under the Erasmus project students, research scholars and faculty of KU can study and do research at nine universities in Italy, Germany, Sweden, Spain, France and Finland. The KU V-C said that the Kakatiya University has signed MoUs with Central Michigan and other universities. The university, he said, was also a partner of European Union project. The University is also exploring the possibility of linkages with some more universities, he said.  Registrar Prof. K Sayulu, Erasmus project coordinator Prof. G.V.Bhavani Prasad and others were present at the meet.
