Mumbai: After winning the reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', Rajniesh Duggall has now signed for a romantic-comedy, titled 'Direct Ishq Ho Gaya'. To be directed by 'My Friend Ganesha' director, Rajiv Ruia, the film will star Nidhi Subbaiah opposite Duggall.
The shooting for the film is currently in progress at Varanasi, and the next schedule is planned at the Mumbai Dockyard.
Duggall will portray the role of a care-free lad from UP, who has adapted a bohemian style of existence.
Reportedly, Duggall signed the film before winning 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. "My character in the movie is quite challenging. I've never wanted to play the sweet, nice guy and that's why this role is exciting for me.
According to media reports, 'Direct Ishq Ho Gaya' is the first film to be shot on the Red Dragon Camera, a new hi-definition camera that prevents other noises being recorded while shooting.
