Last date to submit BE forms extended to June 6

CHENNAI: Anna University has extended the deadline for submission of application forms for engineering counselling to June 6. The earlier deadline was May 31.The decision was taken as Class XII mark sheet were expected to be released only on May 30 and students would have to be given considerable time to submit the applications with a copy of the mark sheet, officials said.However, the TNEA forms would be issued till May 31. The University has sold as many as 1.91 lakh applications till Friday. On June 20, it would assign unique random numbers to determine the ranking of candidates. The rank list would be released on June 24.
