Madhani forum dharna Wednesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In protest against the denial of bail to PDP leader Abdul Nasar Madhani, the Justice for Madhani Forum will stage a dharna in front of the Secretariat on Wednesday from 10 am to 1 pm. Senior journalist and human rights activist Ajith Sahi will inaugurate the dharna.  Working chairman of the Forum advocate K P Muhammed Kunju Maulavi alleged in a press conference here on Monday that the move of the Karnataka government to convict Madhani was “shameful”.  “The Forum is protesting against denying basic rights to an undertrial prisoner who is  physically  handicapped and suffering from ill-health,” Bhasurendra Babu, district convener of the Forum, said.
