New Delhi: Hours before leaving for United States, Prime Minster Narendra Modi has given the central bureaucracy a major shake up. Eight secretary level officers have been transferred in a mid night order by Cabinet's Appointment Committee on Thursday.
The order came a day after over 40 joint secy level officers were reshuffled on Tuesday late night.
PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh are the only two members of ACC which decide on transfers and postings of Joint Secretary and above level officers in the government of India.
