BANGALORE: A 13-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh, who was allegedly gangraped by four miscreants in a shed, was rescued by child helpline centre (Makkala Sahaya Vani). The incident was took place in Bannerghatta police station limits.
However, the police are perplexed by the contradictory statements made by the victim. Presently, the victim is under the supervision of Makkala Sahaya Vani, the helpline centre which resuced the victim.According to the police, the girl, an orphan, stayed with her uncle in Andhra Pradesh. She had walked away from home and had come to the city after a person had assured her of a job. She was employed as a maid at a house in Kumaraswamy Layout. During her stay there, she came in contact with Seena, who works as a mason and a resident in Bannerghatta. The victim was also a maid at Seena's house.
