Moto E sold out on Flipkart
According to Flipkart the Moto E (Black) is expected to ship in 7 to 10 days but there is a longer wait for the Moto E (White).

New Delhi: As expected, the nicely priced Motorola's Moto E was a runaway bestseller on the day it went on sale. Online retailer Flipkart, that is exclusively selling the newest Motorola smartphone is out of stock but says the Rs 6,999 phone will be back in stock soon but Flipkart is taking bookings for the phone.

Both the black and the white colour variants of the phone is out of stock. According to Flipkart the Moto E (Black) is expected to ship in 7 to 10 days but there is a longer wait for the Moto E (White) which ships in 10 to 15 days.

While it is not known how many units of the Moto E Flipkart has sold, Motorola Mobility India General Manager Amit Boni had said during the launch event that the company was "confident of crossing the half million units sales mark in the next few days."

The Moto E is the cheapest Android KitKat powered smartphone in the Indian market. The Moto E is powered by the latest Android KitKat operating system, 1.2 Ghz dual-core with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory (expandable upto 32 GB). With a 1,980 mAh battery, the dual- SIM device has a 5MP rear camera.

The handset, which has been simultaneously launched in the UK, competes directly with handsets from homegrown players like Micromax, Xolo and Karbonn in India.
