Premika, a love story A film based on the love story of Kishan and Radha, Premika is being directed by Sibu Mohanty and produced by Bijay Behera under Shankar Movies banner. Young sensation Prakruti Mishra essays the role of Radha while well known album star Bulu plays the lead opposite her. Ramesh Mahananda has composed music for the film while lyrics are by Nizam, Nirmal Nayak and Jatindra Nayak.Chanda Na Tume Tara Popular album star Debjani is now busy shaking her legs for two films Chanda Na Tume Tara and Rangila Toka.Chanda Na Tume Tara, produced under the banner of DSO Movies by Chittaranjan Prusty and directed by Ramesh Rout, has Debjani playing the role of supporting actor Tara. She is introduced in the movie performing an item song to the choreography of Sudhakar Basant. Basant also dances along with Debjani in the song dressed as Chulbul Pandey of Dabbang fame.Deepak and Prachi Sinha from Mumbai play the lead roles.Debjani is also shooting for Rangila Toka opposite Pappu Pompom GOUR HARI DASTAN Anant Mahadevan and Siddhivinayak Cine Vision are producing another biopic based on the life of Gour Hari Das, 80, a freedom fighter from Balasore who is now staying at Dahisar, Mumbai, The film titled Gour Hari Dastan has Vinay Pathak in the title role with Konkona Sen Sharma playing his wife while Ranveer Shorey and Tannishtha Chatterjee in the role of journalists.The film narrates the story of a freedom fighter’s struggle to be recognised as a freedom fighter.This will be mahadevan's tenth feature ans it is noteworthy that Anant Mahadevan received national awards and worldwide critical acclaim for his last biopic Mee Sindhutai Sapkal. Gour Hari Dastan is based on Gour's memoirs and diary recordings.
