Mumbai: Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is all excited about the sequel of Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster', says the second installment would be more 'menacing'.
'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster', starring Jimmy Shergill, Mahi Gill and Randeep Hooda, was produced and directed by Dhulia and released in September last year. To cash in on success of the thriller drama, its producers have chalked out plans for a sequel.
"I am excited about the sequel. I am looking forward to working with Tigmanshu... he is one of the finest directors. I hope the sequel is more menacing and scarier," Neil said. The film did average business at the box office and Jimmy and Mahi have bagged nominations for the best actors in
negative roles.
In the original film, Randeep plays a petty goon who enters Jimmy's princely state and dreams of becoming a 'saheb' himself. Mahi takes advantage of Randeep and deceives Jimmy. There is a buzz in B-town that in the sequel, Jimmy and Mahi will continue to reprise their roles, while Neil will essay the role of a prince and his character will have grey shades.
When asked about his role, Neil declined to divulge any details.
